On June 17, Claude Garrandes and Patrick Chartroux visited the BMVR Louis Nucéra for a workshop on embossing and relief art.
A large number of participants of all ages had the opportunity to explore embossing using an intaglio press and to create their own matrices—using either a magnetic system or wire—working either freely or with the help of Cocteau-inspired templates.
A day filled with discovery and sharing.
Many thanks to the BMVR staff for their warm welcome, and to Carmen Hutchings and Patrick Chartroux for the photos.
